Recorded in Exile Studios, when they used to be located on the pier in Aberdeen anno 2004, CONTRA's WARBEAT demo was done in 2 short session; the songs where tracked live during the first session, and vocals and minor overdubs where done during the second sessions. This demo represents CONTRA in a lineup that only existed for a few months, during the summer of 2004.

Features an insane instrumental version of "Suits at the Slaughter" (that was frequently used as an opener at gigs during this period), "Whirlwind", and ofcourse "WARBEAT"!
